Have a walk in Scheggino means tracing the history of Valnerina. The stone narrow streets leads to the church of Saint Nicola, preceded by a stunning porch. Scheggino is the ideal destination for watersport lovers, because it hosts one of the most equipped waterpark: the Activo park. From Scheggino you can do a soft rafting both on the Nera River and Como river. (20kilometres from the park towards Norcia).
For everyone who loves the genuine local cuisine, Scheggino offers a wide range of products from the land and river. Truffle is the flagship of this village infact, it is here that the first company of storage and processing of the underground mushroom has been founded; you can’t miss the opportunity to taste the truffle snails! Apart from the land, the clear water of the Nera river offers the tasty trout of Valnerina.
